Falling into a new season . . .

Fall is in the air!! On Saturday Mom, Matt, Kristie, Jody, the girls and I loaded up and headed to the mountains to see if we could get a glimpse of the pretty fall colors. We had a bit of snow a couple weeks ago, and I think it ruined the colors! As we drove up the mountain it went from lots of green with a few colors, here and there, to a bunch of dead trees. The lower trees haven't changed yet, and the higher trees are all bear, thanks to the super cold weather! We stopped and had a picnic and took some pictures anyhow!
This is the part of Utah I absolutely love!!! The huge mountains and the colors are breathtaking. I look at the creation and can't help but by amazed by the Creator!!!

We headed to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins which we will carve in a couple weeks!!

The girls both got pumpkins they could hardly carry!!!

We had a super fun day . . .and I can't wait to continue all the fun as the holiday season is at hand. The girls are going to the Harvest Party at the church! Autumn is going to be a ladybug and Haylee is going to be a butterfly! It should be fun!!!!
