Busy Little Bees . . .

I can't believe how busy we have been!  We are enjoying summer to the fullest, no doubt!  I created a list of 100 things for us to do this summer and we have been chipping away at them and having a blast doing it!  Here are a few of the things we have done:
Make Rock pets.  The first one is Jody's followed by Haylee's, mine and Autumn's.

We had a picnic and fed the ducks at Wheeler Farm, then went swimming.

Went to the farmer's market, bought ingredients to make home made salsa and went to the art chalk festival.
Burned Haylee's old school work and made smore's.
We have done tons of other stuff as well, and have much left to do.
We had a fabulous 4th of July at the park with the whole family.  This is one of my favorite holiday's and traditions.  We really had no agenda, just laid in the shade, played games and enjoyed the day together.
Autumn took up a love for running last summer, so we put her in track and she LOVES it!  She has done so well too!  Here are a couple of pictures of her competing.
Autumn and her friend at their first meet.

 Autumn in the long jump.
Running the home stretch of the mile.

Autumn is really a distant runner, and good at it too!  She competed in the 800 meter and qualified for the district meet.  Her best mile time so far is 7:16.  She has one final race this weekend.

Serving him,
Jess
