On Friday, my sweet husband did something I NEVER thought he would do! He asked if he could bring home a new pet? Jody loves animals, but him and Kitty have a love hate relationship (I think they love to hate each other), so imagine the shock when he started sending me pictures of a kitten (4 months old) he wanted to bring home!!! I, of course, jumped at the idea, because I have loved cats since I was little. Kitty is my fur baby and I gladly welcomed the idea of expanding our family :o).
I read online how to introduce two cats to each other and so far is is going well. When we are not home Gabby stays in the girls room and Kitty has the rest of the house to herself. When we are home they are both out roaming around. They have attempted sniffing a couple time, but one always hisses and scares the other off. We have had no cat fights yet, so that is good. One thing that is on the list of things to do, however, is declawing. I hate to do it, as I remember the pain Kitty Bears was in when she was declawed, but I cannot deal with clawing of the furniture, or the clawing of my had for that matter.
Here are a couple pictures of the new addition:

Until a couple months ago, Haylee was scared of Kitty Bears . . .Jody and I never have understood why as Kitty is declawed and doesn't really care for Haylee (Kitty runs when Haylee gets too close). Suprisingly Haylee likes Gabby . . .so far!

She has some really pretty markings. Like Kitty Bears, who has a little black birth mark on her nose, Gabby has a little black birth mark on her lower lip. It is fun to have a spunky cat around again.
Serving Him,
Jess
