I found a couple random photos in my phone that I thought I would share with you. The first one is Autumn last night. Her and I both got our hair cut and Ashley curled her hair so cute. Autumn didn't want to put her hat on, take a shower or do anything to mess it up :o)
I get so frustrated doing her hair cause last time it was cut it was done uneven (and apparently a big chunk randomly missing from one side). I always end up with uneven braids, pig tails etc. Ashley said it will take a few haircuts to get it fixed, but we are off to a good start. My mom bought Haylee a desk lamp to clip on to her bed so she could read at night without bothering Autumn. Well I didn't have a light bulb and Haylee wanted to read one night . . . so Superdad to the rescue . . . here is what Jody hooked her up with!
A head lamp!! She thought it was silly, but wore it for that night. No worries . . .there is a new bulb in her lamp now and we are back in business.Haylee and I had a great "first date" we got hot chocolate and started a book "A Case For Christ for Kids". She learned alot including that Jesus claimed to be God, was killed for this claim, Jesus is not insane and He is not a hypnotist. The book goes through all the things the world may say to deny the diety of Jesus and refutes them with logical and scientific facts. She really liked the book, as did I.
Serving Him,
Jess

Never underestimate the power of a good headlamp. Take it from two campers that when you're looking for a latrine, a head lamp is a valuable asset. Aside from that - I sometimes wish I could go back in time and be a child, trying to read at night with newfound knowledge of these things called "head lamps".
