Turkey legs, carnivals, loaded potatoes, cowboys and cowgirls, concerts and shopping . . .these are a few of my favorite things. Okay, after 4 long and agonizing years since my last party at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo . . . I will make my next appearance in 2 months. For the few years I lived in Houston, every year season tickets to the worlds largest and longest livestock show and rodeo were a must have. The rodeo, always at the first of March, is a favorite of mine. Lasting 21 days, it was not uncommon for me to attend 15 shows in 3 weeks. Looks like I will only be able to attend two nights . . . but I will not complain. Jody and I are planning a trip to Houston the weekend of March 20th for the rodeo. I can't wait!
