The days are getting shorter and the temps are dropping! That means only one thing . . . almost time to go into hibernation!!! We are trying to enjoy whats left of summer while we can!
We had a fun weekend with the girls!!! Friday night we went to my office party and the girls had fun playing with the other kiddos! Saturday we took the girls to play a little putt-putt!
Jody told the girls that if they hit their balls into the water, they wouldn't get to play the rest of the course. On hole 7 Autumn smacked her ball into the water, and she had to watch us play the rest of the time!!
Saturday night we were invited to go to the Salt Palace to see Nick Vujicic speak. There is nothing like 3,000 people lifting their voices to God during the worship time!!! Here is a clip off You Tube of what this man is like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USUvzKDroqM
His message was awesome! The girls both loved it and Jody and I talked about it all the next day! Sunday night he had the awesome opportunity to preach the name of Jesus from the LDS Tabernacle (he is the 3rd Evangelical Christian to do such a thing)!!!
Preparation is under way for Haylee's 8th and final SKG date of the year (and this series). It is a great date, and I can't wait to go! It is planned for September 25th! I will be sure to post lots of pics of that date! Hopefully I will update you before then :o)

We were at the Salt Palace on Sat too. I saw you guys there. It was really awesome, I was so impressed with his message, coming from a guy with no arms and no legs, who wouldn't be impressed. I guess that was the point God is trying to make with him hu. :) I'm glad you guys were there too. I look forward to hearing about your SKG date.
I saw him speak a couple of years ago... amazing. Looks you guys are having a fun end to your summer!
