Autumn Blessings . . .

We had a fun weekend. Haylee is off track and decided to go to Idaho and spend some time with her grandma, so, although it was her weekend with us, we only had Autumn. Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch to get a couple pumpkins. We picked a couple good sized ones . . .Autumn could hardly carry!

Afterwards we went to a carnival at Academy West, where Autumn takes dance lessons. She had fun playing games and playing all the equipment that they have there. After the carnival all the different age groups performed their dance routines. I love watching the little ones . . .they are so cute!

Autumn wanted to jump into the "block pit" but was a little scared at first . . . so this coach helped her by throwing her in! Autumn loved it after that!

Here is Autumn dancing and a picture of here and her medal. She really enjoys dance, but will only continue it through the rest of this year. In January we will be starting Girl Scouts and I am way excited about that! So for all of you cookie lovers . . . be sure to head our way after the first of the year for Girl Scout Cookies!!!
Here is a self shot of Autumn and I on Saturday!

Saturday night went with Autumn's grandparents out to dinner at Braza Grill, a Brazilian restaurant in town. We went home and watched "Pippy Long Stocking". Autumn likes to wear here hair in piggy tails and braid them. I always tell her we should put wire in her hair so she could be Pippy Long Stocking. She had no idea who that was, so we rented to movie. She liked the movie a lot . . .I have to say, it is pretty cute!

Sunday afternoon we went to my parents house a carved the pumpkins we got at the pumpkin patch!

Here is the finished product! Autumn did a smiley face pumpkin and I did a cat. The cat is hard to see, but that is what it is!!!

So, it has been about 5 months since Autumn came into our lives, and I have to stay our lives are fuller and funner because of it! She has the cutest sense of humor and Jody and I are always laughing at the funny things she says and does! One of the cutest things she does is a rooster crow. I got it on video for you . . .it is sooo cute! You will have to pause the music at the bottom . . .and my apologies for a sideways video!!!

She is a joy to have a round! We went to Parent Teacher Conference last week and her teacher said she wants to adopt Autumn. She excels in every subject and follows the rules "meticulously". Uncle Matt just loves Autumn . . .and she adores him as well. Here is a cute picture of them!

Haylee called last night and she is back from Idaho. She is coming over tonight, and will be with us for the next two weeks until she goes back on track. Please pray that the girls will continue to learn to work together, not compete and just enjoy having a playmate in each other!
Serving Him,
Jess
