I thouroughly examined the site and went on about my day . . .well kind of. Within an hour of leaving the website, I checked my email and was shocked when I saw in my inbox a message from "Yalenga". I have not talked to Alex in a couple years, and although all my friends in Africa are constently on my heart, I have not been the best at keeping in touch. Since Friday Alex and I have written back and forth a couple times, both convinced that God must have placed us on each others' hearts that Friday afternoon!!! Alex sent me a recent photo of his family and I have to share it with you!!!
This family is precious . . .and those girls are absolutely gorgeous!!!! Please keep my sweet friends in Africa in your prayers as each day is much more of a struggle for them then for us, even in the midst of a national financial crisis. My hearts desire is that one day soon, I will be able to return to Zambia, at least for a time, and share in the joy of what God is doing over there.Serving Him,
Jess
