God Placed You on My Heart . . .

Last Friday I was experiencing a few moments of boredom and decided to do a little internet surfing! My searches found me on the ministry website of Zambia Messianic Fellowship. This is the group I was with when I was in Zambia. I so enjoyed catching up with Alex Yalenga and his family as well as the growth of the ministry in Zambia. Some of the pictures flooded my heart and mind with memories of my trips there as the photos were almost identical to some I have in my scrapbooks, because I was at the events he was talking about.

I thouroughly examined the site and went on about my day . . .well kind of. Within an hour of leaving the website, I checked my email and was shocked when I saw in my inbox a message from "Yalenga". I have not talked to Alex in a couple years, and although all my friends in Africa are constently on my heart, I have not been the best at keeping in touch. Since Friday Alex and I have written back and forth a couple times, both convinced that God must have placed us on each others' hearts that Friday afternoon!!! Alex sent me a recent photo of his family and I have to share it with you!!!



This family is precious . . .and those girls are absolutely gorgeous!!!! Please keep my sweet friends in Africa in your prayers as each day is much more of a struggle for them then for us, even in the midst of a national financial crisis. My hearts desire is that one day soon, I will be able to return to Zambia, at least for a time, and share in the joy of what God is doing over there.
