A New Wardrobe . . .

Friday after I got off work, I went to straight to my mom's house where we turned her living room and kitchen into "Santa's Workshop" as dad called it. We got out the sewing machine, iron and cleared off the island and set to work making doll clothes. We actually had fun doing it so our adventures continued Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. Mom and I got 2 pair of pants, one pair of shorts, a skirt, 2 shirts, a jacket and pj's done for Liz (Autumn's doll). I want to do 2 more shirts to go with her two other pants and then we will be working on Haylee's dolls (the smaller ones). We did get a skirt done for Haylee's dolls, but we also bought a pattern that is specific to her size of doll, so we will get to work on that shortly. I took pictures of some of the outfits . . .I think they turned out sooooo cute and I can't wait to give them to the girls!!!

This is the first outfit we made . . . a skirt, shirt and jacket. I cut out stars from the shirt material and added them to the jacket and skirt to bring it all together.

We made some corduroy pants that turned out sooo cute. I can't decide if I like these or the jeans better (sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the jeans).
We also made a cute summer outfit. After I took this picture, mom added a cute white bow around the shirt that made it even cuter! (And yes, those are my feet).
These pajama's turned out so cute. We got flannel and made little pj's. When we open our new jammies on Christmas Eve, I am going to have the girls open the pj's for their dolls too! I can't wait!

Anyhow, it will be a few weeks before we can work on them again. Mom will be out of town the next time I have a child free weekend, so I will have to wait 4 weeks if I need help. I have some of this down well enough that I think I could do it with out her, but there are a few new patterns we are going to try, and I will probably wait for her on those!!!

Serving Him,
Jess
