Christmas Craze . . .

Well, Christmas has come and gone.  I have been a little MIA as Jody had 10 days off, so we kept busy with this and that!

The week before Christmas we saw the third and final "Hobbit" premier.  We took Autumn this time - she was excited to see her first late night movie!
Our friend Alyssa has gone with us to the Hobbit movies all three years.

The same day as the movie, Miss Paisley had a hysterectomy.  Seriously - one of the saddest things EVER!!  Picking her up from the vet was almost heartbreaking!!!

She hated the "cone of shame".  Luckily she only had to wear it twice!!

Two days later Paisley was bouncing off the walls with her usual energy.  I have to say that during her two "down days" I missed her crazy self!  Because she had to be calm for 10 days . . . I did the only thing I could think of and put her sweaters on her.  Seriously, you have never seen a dogs attitude so drastically change in 10 seconds time.  She hated wearing the sweaters, but it did the trick of keeping her calmed down.
She was so cute and cudly!!  Poor little bugger!

On Christmas Eve mom and dad came over to hang out!  We had a great time together (as usual).  Paisley and Buddy each got to open a gift :o)

They both got new stuffed animal toys to play with.  As a side note, Paisley has been on a murder spree and three stuffed animals have lost their lives in the past week, including her new elephant.

This picture of Autumn and dad has no story . . . it's just cute!!

Having no Haylee definitely made Christmas different this year.  The excitement was down, for sure!  The girls feed off each others energy and I off of theirs, so not having Haylee around changed that dynamic.  I think Autumn's favorite gift was a pair of rain boots she has been wanting for over a year.  They are a little pricey, so I have held off on buying them, but over a year later, she still wanted them.

Her face when she opened them said it all!!

Autumn put her boots almost immediately and has barely taken them off since!!

We had a great Christmas spending time relaxing with family!!  I am so super excited for New Years! Honestly, 2014 has been a hard year in many ways and I am excited for a fresh new year!  Also, I love going to mom and dad's to hang out all night in our pj's.  This will be the first year of no kids for the holiday, it will be a little weird, but I think we will still have plenty of fun!!

Serving Him,
Jess
