Dad and Autumn by the mighty grizzly bears!
I love rhinos!!
Although, she doesn't love doing it, Autumn is still a good sport about posing with random statues!
We hung around long enough to see the polar bear eating - that was fun!
Thanksgiving day we went to mom and dads house early and enjoyed biscuits and gravy (Jody's favorite) for breakfast and spent the morning hanging out. It was not our Thanksgiving for the girls, but Autumn's mom wasn't doing dinner until much later, so she joined us for most of the day.
Kristie and I went to two stores for a little Black Friday shopping. The crowds were nothing compared to years past!!!
On Friday - Autumn and I decorated the house for Christmas. It sure is a lot of work - but I love the feel, when it's all done!!!
Friday night Autumn had a couple of friends over to help celebrate her birthday.
On Saturday we went to Jody's family Thanksgiving party.
His family has a neat tradition of signing this table cloth every year. This was my 8th year attending. It's fun too try and find where you signed in years past.
It was our weekend with the girls, but because of the current trouble with Haylee, she was not with us. I really feel like she has pretty much written us off as family. She never reaches out to us for anything. I text her fairly often to just say hi and have a good day . . . her responses (when she sends them) are short and polite, no emotion, no love - just a duty done. It is more than a little heartbreaking for me . . . to say the least. I am trusting God with this one, cause really . . . what other option do I have?!?!
Serving Him,
Jess
