Two brainwashed that is. I don't think of it as a bad thing . . .
Last night Jody , Autumn and I were walking to get the mail and Autumn says something like "It is just such a cool shape . . .the state of Texas. I mean Utah and Wyoming are so boring and square, but when you look at Texas you know it is Texas". Jody looked at me like "are you kidding me". I giggled the whole way to the mail box and back. Haylee has been a Texas cheerleader for months, and apparently Autumn is picking up her pom poms. I promise I do not play hidden messages in our music, and I don't sneak into their room at night and whisper sweet Texas nothings into their ears. I think it is funny how my love for the state of Texas is rubbing off on the girls . . . makes me laugh!
Speaking of the promised land . . .be sure to keep them in your prayers over the next few days and weeks as Hurricane Ike makes landfall. I remeber 3 years ago I was evacuating Rita and it was no fun at all. Driving for 15 hours to go what would normally take about 2.5 hours. I have never complained about slow traffic since that time . . . it was the worst! Anyhow, I talked to Julie by text and she told me they are staying in town, but may leave after the storm to escape the heat if they lose power. For all my wonderful friends (who are really more like family) down on the gulf coast . . .I am praying for your safety!!!
Serving Him,
Jess
